Founded & Serving Communities

A Foundation Built on
Compassion & Action

The Christiana Olawumi Foundation (COF) was born from a deep conviction that every person — regardless of their circumstances — deserves access to health care, safety, and opportunity. Since 2008, we have been on the ground in Oyo State, walking alongside the most vulnerable to create lasting change.

Child Protection
We place the safety and dignity of every child at the centre of all we do — from our orphanage to our OVC programme.
🏥
Community Health
Free HIV testing, TB screening, and FGM prevention are delivered directly to underserved communities.
🌱
Sustainable Impact
We build local capacity, partner with government agencies, and measure everything — because accountability matters.

Lives We've Touched

Real stories from the communities and individuals whose lives have been transformed through COF's programs.

"

COF's TB screening program saved my life. I had been coughing for weeks and didn't know what was wrong. The outreach team came to my community, tested me, and I was diagnosed early. After 6 months of free treatment, I am completely cured.

When my parents passed, I thought my life was over. COF's orphanage gave me shelter, food, education, and most importantly — hope. Today I am in secondary school and dreaming of becoming a doctor to help others like me.

COF's FGM awareness campaign opened our eyes. We used to see it as tradition, but now our community has pledged to end the practice. Over 200 families have signed the anti-FGM declaration since the program started.

I was living with HIV and facing terrible stigma at work. COF's anti-discrimination program helped me get legal support and connected me to a support group. I am now on ART and living my best life — stigma-free.
