Born from compassion and rooted in community, the Christiana Olawumi Foundation has been transforming lives across Oyo State, Nigeria since 2008.
The Christiana Olawumi Foundation began as a small community initiative in 2008, driven by the urgent need to respond to the health crises and child vulnerability challenges in Oyo State. What started as grassroots tuberculosis outreach quickly grew into a multi-programme organisation reaching thousands.
Formally registered in 2018, COF today runs five integrated programmes — spanning child care, disease prevention, and gender-based violence — serving some of the most marginalised communities in Nigeria.
Our work is grounded in the belief that every person has inherent dignity and limitless potential, and that sustainable change happens when communities are empowered from within.
To rescue, protect, and nurture vulnerable children and communities through integrated health services, education, and social empowerment programmes.
A Nigeria where every child grows up safe, healthy, and full of opportunity — and where communities have the tools and knowledge to thrive independently.
Community-led, family-centered, and partnership-driven. We work alongside government bodies, local leaders, and international partners to deliver measurable, sustainable impact.
Every child we shelter, every life we test, every community we reach — it is only possible because of generous people who care. Join us today.
