World TB Day 2026: COF’s Community Outreach Reaches 19 New Communities

To mark World Tuberculosis Day 2026, the Christiana Olawumi Foundation expanded its community-level TB case-finding activities into 19 previously unreached communities across Ogbomoso and surrounding LGAs. Volunteer health workers conducted sputum sample collections and GeneXpert referrals, identifying 47 presumptive cases in a single week of intensive outreach.
