The COF HIV Project implements community-based HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) programmes across Oyo State. Our mission is to improve access to HIV services, promote early detection, and strengthen prevention efforts — particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach areas.
We deploy trained health workers to deliver integrated HIV services within communities, combining testing with health education to enable informed health decisions.
Our programmes operate collaboratively with state and local health authorities, government agencies, and community leaders to ensure sustainability and strengthen local health system ownership.
Trained health workers bring testing services directly to underserved communities, removing barriers to access.
We break down stigma and misinformation through targeted campaigns, enabling communities to make informed health decisions.
Those who test positive are linked to government treatment facilities ensuring continuity of care and ongoing support.
